Our History

50 years of building trust, one member at a time

1975

Establishment

The Ghana Customs Provident Fund was established by the Ghana Customs & Excise Department to provide financial security for its officers.

1986

Expansion

Membership expanded to include all grades of the Ghana Customs Service following new legislation.

1998

Benefits Enhancement

Medical benefits and education bursary schemes introduced, tripling the value of membership.

2007

Digital Transformation

Member records digitised; online contribution tracking introduced for the first time.

2015

Investment Growth

Fund assets surpassed GH₵ 1 billion for the first time, cementing financial stability.

2023

Online Services

Launch of the digital member portal and online application system, serving 45,000+ active members.
